We are driven by compassion, equality, and the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to live a dignified and fulfilled life. Our Work and Alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

GWOCF’s programs are carefully designed to contribute to key global goals that promote sustainable and inclusive growth.

Quality Education (SDG 4)

At Greymond Women, Orphans and Charity Foundation (GWOCF), we believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and dependency. Every child, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Our Educational Support Program is designed to remove barriers that keep orphans and vulnerable children out of school across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Through this initiative, we award full scholarships that cover essential learning costs including tuition fees, school uniforms, footwear, school bags, books, and writing materials.

Beyond financial assistance, GWOCF goes a step further by providing mentorship and monitoring support to ensure each child not only stays in school but also thrives academically and emotionally. We work closely with schools, caregivers, and community leaders to track performance, attendance, and overall engagement.

By nurturing curiosity, confidence, and creativity, we aim to raise a generation of educated, empowered, and socially responsible citizens who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and the nation at large.

Our education program directly supports the( United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education), which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Through our ongoing commitment, we envision a future where no child’s dreams are limited by poverty, gender, or circumstance.

At Greymond Women, Orphans and Charity Foundation (GWOCF), we recognize that good health is the foundation for a productive and fulfilling life. Without access to quality healthcare and proper nutrition, vulnerable populations especially women, widows, and orphans struggle to achieve their full potential.

Our Health and Nutrition Program is designed to improve the physical well-being and resilience of those most in need within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Through medical outreach, nutritional interventions, and health education, we work to reduce preventable illnesses, improve immunity, and promote long-term wellness among our beneficiaries.

We provide nutritional support to orphanage homes, widows, and vulnerable families, ensuring access to balanced meals and essential supplements that help combat malnutrition and strengthen immunity. In collaboration with healthcare professionals and local partners, we organize medical check-ups, health screenings, and wellness seminars to raise awareness about hygiene, maternal health, disease prevention, and mental well-being.

Our approach is holistic addressing not only immediate health needs but also building health literacy within communities. We encourage preventive healthcare practices, early diagnosis, and access to affordable medical support.

This initiative contributes directly to (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 — Good Health and Well-Being), which seeks to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

Through compassion, education, and community collaboration, GWOCF is nurturing stronger, healthier, and more resilient families one life at a time.

At Greymond Women, Orphans and Charity Foundation (GWOCF), we are deeply committed to advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment as a central pillar of our mission. We believe that when women are empowered, entire families and communities thrive.

Despite remarkable progress in recent years, many women and widows in Nigeria, particularly in vulnerable communities still face barriers such as limited access to education, economic opportunities, healthcare, and decision-making roles. GWOCF works to bridge this gap by promoting inclusion, empowerment, and dignity for every woman and girl, regardless of her background or circumstance.

Through our targeted initiatives, we:

Our programs reflect the core aim of ( United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 — Gender Equality), which seeks to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

By equipping women with the resources, skills, and platforms to succeed, GWOCF is not only transforming individual lives but reshaping the narrative of womanhood in underserved communities  from dependence to determination, and from vulnerability to victory.

Together, we are building a future where women lead with confidence, contribute with pride, and live with dignity.

At Greymond Women, Orphans and Charity Foundation (GWOCF), we understand that poverty is more than a lack of money; it is a lack of opportunity, empowerment, and access to the tools needed for self-sufficiency. Our work is driven by the belief that every individual deserves the chance to live with dignity, purpose, and financial independence.

Through our Skills Acquisition and Micro-Enterprise Support Program, we provide vulnerable populations especially widows and low-income women with practical training and financial assistance to help them establish sustainable sources of income.

Participants receive hands-on training in various vocational fields such as tailoring, catering, soap-making, hairdressing, beadwork, and small-scale trade. Upon completion, beneficiaries are supported with start-up materials, small business loans, or grants to help them launch or expand their income-generating ventures.

In addition to vocational training, GWOCF offers entrepreneurship development and financial literacy workshops that teach budgeting, savings, business planning, and cooperative management. This ensures that our beneficiaries not only start businesses but also have the knowledge and confidence to sustain them long-term.

Our approach aligns directly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Through these efforts, GWOCF is transforming dependency into self-reliance  helping women and families move from survival to stability, and from hardship to hope.

At Greymond Women, Orphans and Charity Foundation (GWOCF), we believe that lasting impact is built on collaboration, not isolation. The challenges faced by vulnerable populations from poverty and inequality to poor health and limited education are complex and interconnected. Tackling them effectively requires strong partnerships, shared expertise, and collective action.

That’s why GWOCF actively collaborates with government agencies, civil society organizations, donor institutions, NGOs and community-based groups to expand our reach and amplify the impact of our programs. Through these partnerships, we leverage resources, knowledge, and networks to deliver more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable solutions.

Our joint initiatives include:

These alliances reflect our commitment to the (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 17 — Partnerships for the Goals), which calls for strengthening global partnerships to support and achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Through unity and shared purpose, GWOCF continues to build bridges across sectors and communities, ensuring that no one is left behind in our collective journey toward equality, dignity, and hope.
